HONOLULU (AP) - The Queen's Medical Center says it has received two $1 million donations to help it set up a hospital in West Oahu.

Queen's said Tuesday the James and Abigail Campbell Family Foundation formally presented the hospital with a $1 million gift last week.

The hospital says Joanna Sullivan donated another $1 million to honor the legacy of her late husband, Foodland founder Maurice "Sully" Sullivan.

The Queen's Medical Center is Hawaii's largest private hospital.

Its parent company last year bought Hawaii Medical Center-West in Ewa Beach after it closed and announced plans to reopen the hospital it under the name The Queen's Medical Center-West Oahu.

Queen's plans to open the facility early next year.
