Teams across Georgia finished wrapped up play today at the Watermelon Tournament, a softball fast pitch contest held by Crisp County.
Lowndes County was named champion in their division.
Lee County both of their games Saturday against Toombs County, 9-0 and Berrien County, 14-2. They went 4-1 in the tournament and are now 5-3 on the season.
Worth County, who was trailing by a run going into the bottom of the 6th against Turner County, turned in four runs to win the game 13-9. They finished tied for 2nd in their division going 2-2 in the tournament.
