NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man was arrested for robbery after he threw a computer monitor at an officer, according to police.

Police said Phillip Noe, 48, broke into Elite Roofing shortly before midnight Tuesday.

Officers arrived at the store and set up a perimeter around the building after hearing an alarm.

While waiting for a K-9 unit to arrive, police said Noe exited the back door of the business carrying a computer monitor. When the suspect saw a police officer, he threw the monitor, striking the officer in the leg.

The suspect re-entered the building and fled through a front window. After a brief chase, Noe was arrested.

Police said Noe has been arrested 50 times in Davidson County.
