GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
The East Texas woman accused of plotting to kidnap and kill a pregnant woman was in court Monday morning.
32-year-old Tanya Lynette Bradley of Longview appeared before Gregg County Judge Alfonso Charles at 9 a.m. Bradley waived her right to a trial by jury and will have a bench trial in December.
Bradley is charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit murder. She was arrested June 30, 2012 at the doctor's office where she was planning to abduct a pregnant woman, kill her, then steal her baby.
Bradley allegedly told her husband she was pregnant and faked doctor visits for months. Police say her friends came forward after she bought knives, duct tape and gloves.
Her trial will take place December 4 at 9 a.m. For now, she remains in the Gregg County Jail.
