Identity of remains found on Mauna Kea revealed

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police on the Big Island have identified the human remains that were discovered last week at a remote location around the 12,000-foot elevation of Mauna Kea.

The remains were identified through dental records as Brian Patrick Murphy of Plymouth, Michigan, who was 67 years old when he was reported missing from that area in December 2007.
