Closures on I-475 and I-75 start Wednesday

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Starting Wednesday and ending Sunday, the Ohio Department of Transportation will be pouring concrete on the ramp from eastbound Interstate 475 to northbound Interstate 75.

ODOT has tentatively scheduled closures due to equipment, work type and safety.

Eastbound I-475 at ProMedica Parkway, including the ramps to north and southbound I-75, will be closed during the following dates and times. Detours are ProMedica Parkway, Central Avenue, and Willys Parkway.

-Aug. 7 at 9 p.m. until Aug. 8 at 5 a.m. – Crews prepare equipment and perform dry run.

-Aug. 8 at 9 p.m. until Aug. 9 at 5 a.m. – Dry Run (only if necessary)

-Aug. 9 at 9 p.m. until Aug. 10 at 11 a.m. – Deck Pour

-Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. until Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. – Back up date for weather and/or equipment delays if necessary.

Additionally, during the eastbound I-475 closure, the following ramps will be closed:

-The ramp from Douglas Road to eastbound I-475. Detour: Central Avenue and Willys Parkway
-The ramp from ProMedica Parkway to eastbound I-475. Detour: Central Avenue and Willys Parkway.

Also, during the eastbound I-475 closure, eastbound I-475 from Secor Road to I-75 will be reduced to one lane.
