The 2nd Annual Pacific Ink & Art Festival

(Hawaii News Now) - This weekend, the summer heats up with the 2nd Annual Pacific Ink and Art Expo at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. This family friendly expo welcomes spectators of every age and ethnicity to revel in the awe of the attractions as well as the best tattoo artists from around the world showcasing LIVE tattooing never done before in Hawaii all under one roof.

The Pacific Ink and Art Expo will also be featuring celebrity artists such as Meagan Massacre (NY Ink), Roman Abrego (Ink masters), Oliver Peck (Ink masters), Dutchess (Black Ink) Nikko Hurtado (La ink), Ruthie "Ruthless" Pineda (LA ink) Big Gus (Tattoo Nightmares) and Industry legends Lyle Tuttle, Hanky Panky, Gil Montie, Rick Walters and more. Over 400 Artists and more than 100 vendor booths for you to explore.

From a historic and cultural aspect, we have practitioners bringing the ancient tapping art form of tattoo from Hawaii, Samoa, Japan, The Philippines and guest artists from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and of course The USA!

At the Expo, you will be able to receive a tattoo from the artists of your choice under the most clean and sterile conditions fully monitored and regulated by the Hawaii Department of Health. There will be information on safety and tattoo after care as well. Education and Awareness is one of PIAE's cornerstones and is shared with all the people of Hawaii and abroad.

The MAIN STAGE will have a non-stop lineup of local musical groups, tattoo contests, Chinese lion dancers, food eating contest, Bikini & Tattooed Calendar Models along with tons of raffle and prize give a ways. It is a family friendly event. A special kid's area known, as the Keiki Zone will be available for them to jump, play and have fun while you or your companion get a tattoo done! For the older kids we have the BMX/SKATE Ramp. You can also sign up to win a custom Harley motorcycle that will be given away to one lucky winner!
