CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A woman is repairing damage to her home from stray gunfire, and it comes as she already had bullet holes in the house from wild gunfire.

This time the bullets broke windows and went into walls in the living room.

Valerie Moore lives at E. 105 and Westchester. Her latest damage came last week, and just steps away a few days ago an innocent man was killed by stray gunfire.

"I'm scared. Very scared. Frightened," said Moore.

She describes her neighborhood as, "the wild wild west. That's what I call it. The wild wild west...Westchester."

Even in May, the neighborhood watched a shootout between groups of thugs.

Councilman Jeff Johnson was one of the witnesses.

The latest damage to Valerie's house came when one guy chased another guy firing away.

Cleveland Fifth District police have tried special crackdowns on weapons in the area --  like foot patrols, extra patrols, but still this.

Most of the Fifth District's serious problems occur between St. Clair and Superior along E. 105.
