Tonight on HNN: Man critically injured in North Shore skydiving accident

CRITICAL SKYDIVING ACCIDENT

  Emergency response crews rushed to Dillingham Airfield after reports a skydiver had been critically hurt. We're told the company involved is Skydive Hawaii and the injured skydiver is a customer. We'll have more details at 5.

 PICK FOR U.H. INTERIM PRESIDENT ANNOUNCED

  The UH Board of Regents plans to appoint UH's top technology officer as its interim president. Their selection won't be official until they vote on it next week. Mileka Lincoln has the story.

 PEDESTRIAN SAFETY CAMPAIGN

  Honolulu's police chief is stepping up enforcement in response to a rise in pedestrian deaths. Over the next month, police will issue violators tickets that cost between $70 and $140. Tannya Joaquin has more details.
