Last week John Dean, President and CEO, of Central Pacific Bank was honored by the Hawaii Chapter of the Sales and Marketing Executives International as 'Hawaii's Sales Person of the Year' for 2012!
This recognition is given annually to a person who through their hard work, extraordinary effort, and selfless contributions has been able to especially enhance the image of Hawaii, and the quality of life in our community.
This award has been given annually since 1957, two years before Statehood, and is comprised of a distinguished list of very accomplished people, who have given much of themselves in service to the betterment of Hawaii.
John Dean is most deserving of this prestigious recognition for his tremendous leadership and business acumen that led to the very critical and important turnaround of Central Pacific Bank.
Founded in 1954 by a group of bold and ambitious Nisei veterans, these war heroes from World War Two, would create an important cornerstone in Hawaii's business and banking community. Since then, the Bank has provided generations of families, individuals and companies, with a banking partner that has helped make many dreams come true!
John is always very quick to acknowledge his very talented and capable senior management team and the CPB employees, but we all know you can tell a lot about who is leading by who is following.
We wanted to weigh in on acknowledging John for his great work at the Bank, and especially for his incredible generosity and support of so many deserving people and organizations in Hawaii.
John Dean, Hawaii's Sales Person of the Year for 2012...and a whole lot more!
Congratulations John, you earned it, you deserve it, and we all offer you our sincere thanks and gratitude for being the great person and leader that you are!
