Kaneohe man to compete in season finale of ‘Top Hooker'

KANEOHE, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

An Oahu master fisherman turned reality star is close to winning a big cash prize.

Chris Wright has outlasted eight other contestants in the reality fishing show "Top Hooker." Over the last several episodes, the Kaneohe man has had to complete a variety of challenges including catching goldfish with his mouth and reeling in a fish using another fish as bait.

Now, it's down to Wright and one other competitor in Sunday's season finale. If crowned "Top Hooker," Wright will collect a $30,000 cash prize and a new Chevy truck.

The finale airs this Sunday on Animal Planet at 4 p.m.
