HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 21-year-old man charged with attempted murder after stabbing another man at McKinley High School will make his initial appearance in court on Thursday morning.
Police investigators charged Axery Thomas after he allegedly stabbed the 43-year-old victim several times at around 2:30 a.m. on the steps of the school's administration building.
On Wednesday, paramedics said the victim was rushed to the Queen's Medical Center with five stab wounds, most of them to his upper body. The victim is now in stable condition.
A second man arrested in connection with the case has since been released from police custody.
