Federal subsidy helps Mokulele add flights

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A $1.7 million dollar federal subsidy well help Mokulele Airlines add a new neighbor island route.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports that the contract will provide money to fly 12 round trip flights a week between Waimea and Kahului.

The flights will start in late September, and tickets will sell for approximately $120 round trip.
