The community came together Tuesday to show their support for the 19 lost heroes, and the community included thousands of firefighters.
Firefighters from each and every state packed Tim's Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, and some even watched outside.
They all came together in one big show of support.
"Across the nation, across the world. Firefighters are a brotherhood," Stan Wagaman said.
Wagaman was fire chief in Winston Dillard, Oregon and Hila Overgard, Arizona before he retired.
"I think it's very important since this is one of the biggest loss of life of our brothers since 9/11 and I was part of 9/11 and went to the funerals, said Lt. Eric Levin from the New York City Fire Department.
Members from all of the 108 hotshot crews throughout the U.S. also filled the stadium and those that couldn't get inside, stood outside dressed in their full uniforms, despite the heat.
"We make sure the family knows we have their backs. They have our support, and we're going to make sure everybody is taken care of. It's just what we do," said Chris Wilson with the Blooming Illinois Fire District.
