HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Two lanes on the H-1 freeway in the east-bound direction near the Waimalu off-ramp have reopened after an accident involving a truck.

Photographs from the scene show a truck towing heavy equipment may have lost its load, and a portion of the vehicle appears to have broken through a concrete barrier on the right side of the freeway.

A spokesperson for the Honolulu Fire Department confirms a vehicle has gone through a barrier on the H-1, but that no serious injuries have been reported.

The vehicle went over the right side of the freeway and landed on the hillside near the strip mall below the freeway.
