KINGMAN, AZ (CBS5/AP) -

Arizona is receiving federal funding to help battle the Dean Peak Fire in Mohave County.

FEMA announced Wednesday that funding will be available to reimburse 75 percent of the firefighting costs.

Authorities ordered the evacuation of approximately 200 more homes near where the wildfire is burning in mountains outside the city of Kingman.

The Dean Peak Fire has burned nearly seven square miles after lightning started it Saturday in the Hualapai Mountains about 10 miles southeast of Kingman.

More than 200 firefighters are battling the wildfire, but there was no containment figure. The fire had burned about 4,400 acres as of early Friday morning, according to the Kingman Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management.

Fire management team spokeswoman Connie Birkland said the Mohave County Sheriff's Office ordered the evacuation of the Pinion Pines subdivision late Tuesday night after changing weather shifted the direction of the fire's growth.

A reception center has been established at Kingman High School.

Communication sites on Getz Peak are also being threatened.

There's no word of any structures being burned.

Approximately 150 homes in other areas around the fire were evacuated earlier this week.

The Red Cross responded to the expanded evacuation by reopening a shelter at the Kingman High School.

Old Highway 93 and Hualapai Mountain Road is closed to Pine Lake. DW Ranch and Blake Ranch roads are also closed, except to local residential traffic.

Hualapai Mountain County Park and Wild Cow Campground will be closed until further notice.

The Mohave County Emergency Management is reminding the public that outdoor fires and fireworks are prohibited in unincorporated areas of Mohave County above 2,000 feet, which includes Kingman, Golden Valley, Dolan Springs, Meadview, Chloride, Oatman, Pine Lake, Pinion Pine, Beaver Dam/Littlefield, and Colorado City.

Mohave County officials warn that fire danger throughout the county remains extremely high.
