South Windsor police arrested a 19-year-old girl on Tuesday, who was accused of harassment through text messages.
Shannon Griffin, of Suffield, was charged with second-degree harassment stemming from a May 2013 harassment complaint. She allegedly sent harassing text messages to a youth.
Griffin kept texting another teen girl that was her friend, on and off, after an officer told her to have no contact. Police said the texts were an annoyance.
Griffin was released on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 11.
