A day after no Hawaii golfers in the LPGA U.S. Women's Open scored no better than a 78, all three had a rough day in round 2 at the Sebonak Golf Club in South Hampton, New York.
Michelle Wie finished the day at 111th place after finishing the day with five bogeys and two double-bogeys. Her round stopped at 17 holes after play was suspended due to fog.
Kapolei native Alexandra Kaui is tied for 133rd place after scoring an 81 and three spots behind her is Punahou sophomore Mariel Galdiano, who is 16-over par through two rounds.
Wie will finish the secound round when play resumes Saturday morning. All three golfers are expected to end below the projected cut line of top 60-golfers.
