Chaminade's 77-72 upset over heavily-favored and No. 1 Virginia on Dec. 23, 1982, ranks as the 13th-greatest sports upset, according to Sports Illustrated's online edition updated this week.

Steve Daris' win over Rafael Nadal in the opening round of the 2013 Wimbledon is ranked No. 1 by SI.
The shocker paved the way for the creation of the EA Sports Maui Invitational, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this November.
Arkansas, Baylor, California, Dayton, Gonzaga, Minnesota, Syracuse and host Chaminade are the participants in the 2013 version of the tournament. Six of the eight teams played in the post-season last season: California and Minnesota advanced to the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament; Gonzaga earned its first-ever No. 1 seed; Syracuse advanced to the national semifinals of the Final Four; Baylor captured the NIT championship; and Chaminade earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Division II West Regional.
Pairings for the 30th EA Sports Maui Invitational will be announced later this summer.
