(HawaiiNewsNow) - Kolten Wong will find himself in elite company during Major League Baseball's All-Star weekend. The former Rainbow second baseman was selected as a member to the United States roster for the annual Future's All-Star Game, for the second time in his career.
Wong (a 1st round pick by the Cardinals in 2011) has torn up the competition in triple-a Memphis this season, hitting 319 with 5 home runs, 24 runs batted in and 11 stolen bases.
Wong's U.S. team will face the World all-stars on Saturday, July 14th at 1pm CT.
