Pedestrian accident leaves Ma'ili man in critical condition

A man in his sixties was taken to a hospital in critical condition early Wednesday morning after he was hit by a car while trying to cross Farrington Highway in Ma'ili.

The accident occurred just after 1 a.m. in an area close to a 7-11 store.

Police say the man was hit by a silver Honda sedan.

Authorities do not believe speed or alcohol werefactors in the crash, but say visibility may have been an issue.
