The Georgia Sting opened their doors for registration at their new headquarters on Gillonville Road early Saturday. Last year's Pop Warner Jr. Pee-Wee state champions are looking for players ranging from 5 years old to 13.
The opportunity to play Pop Warner football, gives children a chance to develop their game before reaching high school.
"Pop Warner is going to give them an opportunity to start playing and knowing about football and help them through high school," said Sting Vice President Christina Foster. "It's very important, a lot of kids are not getting the opportunity to play football in school."
The team hosts skills and drills camp at Darton College at 5:30 pm on Sundays and on next Saturday they will host registration at athlete's foot on Old Dawson Road.
