Road work on the H-1 freeway in both directions will cause road closures through Friday at various times throughout the day.
After long delays during the day on Tuesday, the Department of Transportation has changed planned roadwork in the west-bound direction to evening hours. Work between the Kaonohi Overpass to the Waipahu off-ramp will take place between 10 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. through Friday. Crews will be conducting a viaduct deck survey.
In the eastbound direction, road repairs will continue to take place during the day. Repairs between the H1-H2 merge and the Pearlridge/Waimalu off-ramp will take place between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., then resume between 6 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., through Friday.
