Pacific Aviation Museum's online ticketing service hacked

FORD ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Pearl Harbor attraction is reassuring visitors after the company that handles its online ticketing had its databases hacked.

The Pacific Aviation Museum uses Vendini Incorporated, which services organizations across the U.S. and Canada.

Vendini said in late March a hacker may have accessed personal data, including credit card information.

As a precaution, the museum recently sent a letter to roughly 700 people who bought tickets or made donations online.

A spokesperson said the museum was told that none of its patron data was compromised, but those who received the letter are still urged to check their credit cards for unauthorized activity.
