After news of Ariel Castro's lengthy indictment, attorneys Jim Wooley, who represents Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and attorney Kathy Joseph who represents Michelle Knight issue a statement.
"We have a great legal system plus confidence and faith in the prosecutor's office and its decisions. Now, we need to stand back and let the judicial process unfold."
Ariel Castro was indicted on Friday, June 7 by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury.
Castro was indicted for one act of aggravated murder – for purposely and with prior calculation and design causing the unlawful termination of another's pregnancy, and he was also indicted on 139 counts of rape, 177 counts of kidnapping, seven counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of felonious assault and one count of possession of criminal tools.
