Man arrested after beer pitcher attack

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 28-year-old Oahu man was arrested late Thursday night after he allegedly used a beer pitcher to strike a man in the head on a sidewalk in Chinatown.

According to police, the suspect was standing on the sidewalk when he used the pitcher to randomly strike a 24-year-old man who was taking a break from his job.

The victim sustained a laceration to his head but was believed to be okay.

The suspect was arrested and booked on felony assault charges.
