Moms in Hawaii: Summer Reading

(HawaiiNewsNow) - School's out, but instead of letting your children relax and sit in front of the TV all summer, encourage them to read. Studies show that kids can fall behind in reading skills and test scores if they don't keep it up.

Moms In Hawaii kicked off its "Reading Rocks!" summer reading campaign this week that includes various events and incentives. Esme Infante Nii of Moms in Hawaii joins us to explain all the benefits to summer reading.
