HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A small aircraft crash landed at Honolulu International Airport after it's front landing gear collapsed, according to sources at the scene.
Witnesses say a plane, possibly a small single-engine craft, was landing at the airport's South Run around 6:30 a.m. when it appeared to land on it's nose and skid off the runway.
The pilot of the plane was reportedly able to walk away from the crash without serious injury, witnesses say.
The plane was removed from the scene at approximately 7:40 a.m.
