Waipahu man dead in Iroquois Rd. crash

EWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Police say a Waipahu man was killed after a single-vehicle crash on Iroquois Road in Ewa early Sunday morning.

According to investigators, a car traveling eastbound went out of control near West Loch Drive at about 12:15 a.m. Witnesses said the vehicle flipped over several times.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash, but it was unknown whether drugs or alcohol were involved.

The death is the 30th traffic fatality on Oahu so far this year, compared to 24 a year ago.
