Woman critically injured after hit by car

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A woman was was hit by a car Friday night in Liliha and is recovering from critical injuries.

The 53-year-old woman was taken to Queen's Medical Center in critical condition. According to police a 58-year-old man was driving a Honda CRV when he hit the woman while she was standing at the corner of Liliha Street and Ekekela Street.

It is unknown if speed, drugs, or alcohol were factors in the crash.
