HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A casting call for extras to appear in a major motion picture being filmed in Hawaii is scheduled for Sunday.

The call, which is for an undisclosed film, is for military (to be seen in uniform if possible), local men, women and children, tourists, families with children six years or older, surfers, elderly people, and Pacific Islanders.

Those interested can show up at the casting office at 629 Pohukaina Street between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 2nd. Photos will be taken, and organizers say to bring a resume, if you have one, as well as something to do while you wait.

Filming for the movie will take place between June 30 and July 20, and applicants should be available for several days of work between that time.
