HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Kailua man accused of trying to kill a man on Memorial Day has been charged with numerous offenses, according to police.
Honolulu Police Department officials say 42-year-old Jon Rapoza, a convicted felon, was involved in an incident with a 25-year-old man at a home in Kailua. Rapoza reportedly fired his weapon at the man.
He was arrested by police in Kailua on Wednesday.
Rapoza has also been charged with several drug and weapons offenses, including possession of a high capacity magazine.
Bail has been set at $500,000.
