19 Action News has exclusive video - the first "real-time look" at Ariel Castro's backyard on Cleveland's west side where three women were held against their will and sexually assaulted for years.

Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor discovered that the house was reinforced from the inside so nobody could get out.

Sources tell Taylor the windows in the basement were all blacked out with barb wire across them.

A look through Castro's front door looks normal - a couch, recliner and a love seat. There are also toys and a kid's three-wheel bicycle. But it's deceiving. The windows are reinforced with thick plexiglass so the women could not break out.

Upstairs, more plexiglass on the windows reinforced with barb wire and chicken coop wire.

Inside a second floor window is perhaps the most disturbing discovery of all. Sources tell Taylor there is a metal pole screwed into the floor board of an upstairs bedroom. A dog chain is attached to the pole - it's just long enough to reach the bed and nothing else.

All the doors throughout the house leading to each room have dead bolts on them.

Outside in the backyard, there is more barb wire on windows in the garage. Take a look inside the garage and Castro had a motorcycle, more toys for kids and a small American flag.

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were rescued from Castro's Seymour Avenue home on May 6. Berry went missing in 2003 a day shy of her 17th birthday. DeJesus disappeared as she walked home from school in 2004 at the age of 14. Knight went missing in 2002 at the age of 21.

Castro is currently jailed on $8M bond and is under what the jail calls "suicide precaution."
