No tsunami threat for Hawaii after 6.5 Chile quake

CHILE (HawaiiNewsNow) -

There is no tsunami threat for Hawaii after a 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Chile Saturday night.

The quake happened at 11:49 p.m. It was originally estimated at a magnitude of 6.8, but was later downgraded.
