Big Island flood warning cancelled

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has cancelled a flash flood warning that was in effect on the Big Island, mainly in the Kohala districts. Radar and rain gages indicated that heavy rain has ended.

Weather around the islands will remain unstable for a few more days as a disturbance aloft remains just northeast of the state, bringing lighter winds and the continued chance of heavy showers.
