Here's the feel-good story of the year.
A Maryknoll high school student helped a 96-year old woman across the street just as the light was beginning to change.
Big deal? A very big deal indeed.
Seventeen-year-old Jacob Hee said he was just trying to be a nice guy and maybe do a good deed.
He never thought anyone would notice and he wasn't looking for the limelight.
"it shouldn't be a big deal," hee said. "i mean this is what you would expect anyone to do."
But he got some attention.
After someone snapped a photo, we put the story on the Hawaii News Now Facebook page.
Nearly half a million people have looked at it and it has been shared nearly 4,000 times.
You don't see good deeds highlighted every day.
Great job Jacob Hee.
You make us proud.
