A stand up paddler was rescued Sunday off of Ala Moana Beach Park.
The incident happened at about 1:05 p.m. The 41-year-old man suffered an injury in the line-up. Two surfers came to his aid while another called for help on a cell phone he had in the water with him.
Ocean Safety's rescue crew were able to bring the man to shore where Emergency Medical Services treated the victim.
He was taken to the trauma center in critical condition.
