(Hawaii News Now) - She knows first hand how the hit show "The Voice" works. We're talking about local girl Cheesa Laureta. This weekend she will be performing at a celebration of family in the truest sense of the word, Pride for Ewa 2013:Celebrating Ohana Together. It will be held Saturday, April 27, at Hoalauna Park in Ewa Beach from 11:00 - 5:00. The legendary Al Waterson will be the day's emcee for this annual event that highlights the west side's community spirit with live entertainment, rides, ono food, and crafters galore. Hosted by Ewa by Gentry Community Association, Pride for Ewa promises to offer something for everyone! Admission is free and open to the public.

Jordan Segundo (Hawaii's First "American Idol" Contestant) at 1:30 p.m.
Cheesa (2012 Contestant on "The Voice") and Troy Laureta at 3:00 p.m.
Nesian N.I.N.E. at 4:00 p.m.
Ewa Beach, Iroquois Point, and Pohakea Elementary Schools and the American Renaissance Academy Choir and The Performing Artist Academy Choir will also showcase their talents. There will be a resource fair that highlights healthy lifestyles and promotes productive activities for keiki and ohana. EWAlution 96706, the Civil Air Patrol, People Attentive to Children, and many other great support organizations will answer questions and share information.
