HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - You may recognize him from the commercials for Burger King, but now Hawaii's own Duncan Kamakana moves from the "blind audition" to the "battle round" on NBC's popular TV show "The Voice," this Tuesday April 23rd at 7pm.
This is a continuation of a lengthy and complex process where he was chosen over 50,000 other contestants hoping for a chance to compete on this prestigious show.
He is currently working on his first solo album, which he plans to release late this year. He has just launched an Indiegogo fundraising campaign to help create and promote the project.
He hopes to utilize the recent exposure to raise enough money for a first class recording that will take him around the world.
