The Flash Flood watch for Kauai and Niihau has been cancelled. Although periods of localized heavy rain are still possible today flash flooding is not expected. Therefore the Flash Flood Watch is no longer in effect.

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has canceled a Flood Advisory for the island of Kauai, but a Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday for Kauai County.
A band of deep moisture stalled over Kauai will maintain a threat for heavy showers and thunderstorms tonight.
A stalled band of deep moisture will maintain the potential for Flash Flooding over Kauai and Niihau.
Heavy or persistent Rains could cause streams to rise, even in areas where rain is not occurring. Heavy rain will produce slick roadways and reduce visibility, making driving hazardous.
