KAPOLEI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Michelle Wie wasn't in the running for the LPGA Lotte Championship but she did put together her best back to back round scores of the season Saturday at Ko Olina Country Club.
Wie shot a 5-under 68 to finish with a share of 28th place. This came after Wie carded a 4-under 69 on Friday, it marked the first time this season that the Punahou alum scored two sub-70 scores in the same tournament. Wie also pocketed $13,961.
The tournament belonged to Suzann Pettersen who won the Lotte Championship by beating Lizette Salas in the first hole of a playoff. Pettersen only needed a par putt after Salas' approach found the water hazard.
The victory marked Pettersen's 11th title on the LPGA Tour.
