MAKAHA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews have re-opened Kili Drive between Farrington Highway and Huipu Drive in Mahaka after a 16-inch main break was reported Saturday morning.

The break was off the road in Makaha Valley near Kili Drive. The road was closed due to debris caused by the main break.

BWS crews were able to re-open all lanes of Kili Drive once most of the debris was removed. Motorists are advised to drive with caution as crews are still working to remove some debris.

Work to repair the break, which is not on the roadway, is expected to continue overnight and through tomorrow.

The number of affected customers is unknown at this time.
