Georgia guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is heading to the NBA.
The Bulldogs announcing Caldwell-Pope will hire an agent and will not be back for his final two seasons.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope became the first Georgia player since Dominique Wilkins to sweep the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year awards this season.
KCP as he is known did become the 43rd player in Georgia basketball history to score more than 1,000 points.
"I want to thank the University of Georgia for all it has done for me," Caldwell-Pope said. "I want to thank my coaches, teammates and fans for the love and support."
The NBA draft is June 27.
