Sedore powers Warriors into MPSF playoffs

San Diego, CA. (HawaiiNewsNow) - Brook Sedore rose to the occasion and the University of Hawaii Men's volleyball team clinched a postseason berth on the final day of the regular season.

Sedore had a career high 31-kills (.489%), 8 digs and 3 blocks to lead #14 Hawaii (11-16, 10-14 MPSF) to a five set victory over UC San Diego (25-27, 26-24, 19-25, 25-21, 15-11), clinching the 8th and final spot in the MPSF playoffs. Second ranked Long Beach State lent a hand by defeating CS Northridge, knocking the Matadors out of the playoffs.

Hawaii will play top-seed BYU in round one of the MPSF playoffs.
