Two Smith County mobile homes destroyed in afternoon fires
SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
Two homes are left in rubble after they caught fire Saturday afternoon in Smith County.
Officials tell us two homes were fully involved when crews arrived on the scenes of both fires. The first fire was located off of Lariate Circle, between Highway 110 and Highway 69 in Smith County. Lindale and Dixie fire crews responded to this fire, which was a mobile home that was destroyed.
The second fire occurred off of County Road 485, near County Road 486 north of Tyler. Red Springs, Lindale, Winona, Jackson Heights and Chapel Hill crews responded to the scene. The mobile home was fully involved upon arrival, and officials say it is a total loss.
The causes on both of these fires has not yet been determined. No injuries were reported in either fire.
