Postseason still possible for Warrior volleyball team

Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii men's volleyball team came out winners without even playing a match Wednesday.

Hawaii learned that they're post season dreams are still alive after getting some help from UC Irvine who swept CS Northridge Wednesday night. The loss by the Matadors means the Warriors still hold an outside shot at the final spot in the MPSF playoffs but only if Hawaii can sweep UC San Diego on Friday and Saturday and if CSNU loses to Long Beach State on Saturday.

The Warriors (9-16, 8-14) and Tritons (7-20, 4-18) get things underway Friday at 4pm HST at the RIMAC Arena in La Jolla, California.
