(Hawaii News Now) - The groundhog may have predicted an early spring, but Hawai'i residents will soon get a taste of the bitter cold. On April 6, 2013, Special Olympics Hawai'i is once again challenging brave souls to take the Polar Plunge at Waterfront Plaza and introducing some exciting new features. Temperatures will drop for plungers as they glide 80 feet down the island's largest inflatable water slide into a frigid pool filled with ice. But Super Plungers won't be shivering for long – after a relaxing dip in the Post Plunger Hot Tub.
