HONOLULU – The Rainbow Warriors basketball team held their annual postseason awards banquet Wednesday night at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Tapa Ballroom. The event featured a silent auction and dinner in addition to the awards ceremony.
Christian Standhardinger won the Art Woolaway Most Outstanding Player Award after leading the team in scoring, at 15.8 PPG. Standhardinger also averaged 7.9 rebounds per game, second on the team.
Davis Rozitis, who anchored the top of the team's 3-2 zone, took home Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The Academic Award went to fellow senior Hauns Brereton. Senior point guard Jace Tavita won the Most Inspirational Player Award.
Center Vander Joaquim, who left the Stan Sheriff Center during the ‘Bows season ending loss to Air Force in the opening round of the CIT, was not present.
