Big Island April fool's prank prompts calls to 911

Big Island police say they have  received numerous 911 calls Monday morning in response to an April Fool's joke.

Police say a local radio station falsely reported on its website that Saddle Road was closed at the 28-mile marker due to a lava flow.

Police say the report was an April Fool's Day prank.

Saddle Road is open and there is no lava flow anywhere near that area.
