HAWAII KAI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
After falling victim to budget cuts, Mayor Kirk Caldwell announced Saturday an increase in hours for the Koko Head Shooting Range in Hawaii Kai.
The range will be open for an extra two hours on the weekends, increasing their weekend hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and also adding one more hour during the week. The establishment is closed Monday and Tuesday, so Wednesday through Friday hours are now from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
These new hours will take effect on April 3, 2013.
The hours have been extended with hopes that it will decrease the long wait times with the recent rise in use.
